Trade the Northern winter shutdown for a season of teaching, flying and building something worthwhile.
Wills Wing Flight School is looking for motivated hang gliding instructors to join our team in Valle de Bravo. You’ll help new pilots discover flight, guide developing pilots as they build confidence, and give tandem passengers an experience they’ll remember long after they land.
You’ll also roll up your sleeves behind the scenes. This is a proper working role with a growing flight school and a booming hang glider manufacturer—not a flying holiday with the occasional lesson attached.
If you love teaching, take pride in doing things well and bring good energy to a team, it could be a very rewarding way to spend your winter.
Valle has earned its reputation as one of the world’s leading free-flight destinations. Mountain scenery, an established flying community and a winter season that draws pilots from around due to its consistently excellent conditions, making it a very special place to spend time in the air.
On the ground, there’s a lively lakeside town, Mexican food, cafés and plenty to explore when you’re off duty. You’ll have the chance to get to know the place properly—not just pass through it on a short trip.
For an instructor, the appeal goes beyond your own flying. It’s the opportunity to teach in a place where flight is part of everyday life, meet pilots from different countries, and build your experience alongside a knowledgeable local team.

During the season, all paid tandem flying must be carried out through Wills Wing Flight School. This includes days off: the role is not compatible with running your own tandem business or taking private paid tandem bookings. Recreational solo flying in your free time is welcome, subject to the considerations above - after all, Valle de Bravo is one of the worlds best flying sites!
Our school brings together instruction, tandem experiences, progression courses and support for visiting pilots and groups, connected to the Wills Wing hang glider manufacturing team.

We’re building a welcoming, professionally run school with a simple approach: look after people, teach patiently, maintain high standards and make the experience enjoyable.
You’ll work alongside our Valle team, with local knowledge and teaching assistance available. You’ll also get closer to the equipment side of the sport, working around the gliders and the people who build them.
This is a chance to contribute to the school’s next chapter—not simply fill a slot in the timetable.
