Wills Wing is building a small but mighty apparel and accessories line for free flight pilots and Wills Wing customers. We’re looking for a part‑time Apparel Designer / Production Assistant based in Mexico City or Valle de Bravo to coordinate design through production, ensuring great quality, innovative sportswear and casual pieces aligned with our brand.

Title: Apparel Designer / Production Assistant
Type: Part‑time
Location: Mexico City (on‑site with local supplier visits, some remote work OK)
Reports to: Rudy Gotes, CEO and collaborates closely with Chairman, Marketing Assistant, test pilots and the rest of the Wills Wing team
Focus: Technical sportswear and lifestyle apparel and accessories for glider pilots and broader audience

What you’ll do

Translate brand and product briefs into apparel concepts, tech packs, and prototypes
Ensure brand consistency across graphics, color, labeling, and packaging
Own the design‑to‑production lifecycle: concept, materials, sampling, fit reviews, QC, and handover
Prepare complete digital assets: pattern files, BOMs, size specs, construction notes, labeling, and packaging
Manage local supplier relationships across Mexico City and wider MX apparel hubs; source fabrics, trims, and embellishments
Coordinate sampling calendars, production timelines, and capacity plans with vendors
Run fittings and wear‑tests; capture feedback and iterate quickly
Oversee quality control
Handle international logistics handoff
Maintain cost sheets and margin targets with clear trade‑offs between fabric, trims, make, and MOQs
Keep an organized library of materials, color standards, and vendor performance
